Appliqué

Hand appliqué without question creates beautiful decoration, but you can also use them to cover large areas or to avoid difficult machine piecing. Applique by machine is flatter and firmer. However, they, too, are an indispensible part of my design tool box.

All measurements are in centimeters, to convert them to inch calculate 2.5 centimeters for one inch. To return to the overview just close the window with the detail picture.
